What I love about Bobs

Have you ever been to Bob’s Discount Furniture? It’s one of my all time favorite places to visit. I go and just fall in love with all of their furniture. The price is always right at Bob’s. For our next home purchase (soon I hope!) we have been eyeing the Patriot sofa and loveseat set. For only $799 you can get a whole living room set. It is gorgeous and priced in a way that I will be able to actually afford it.

Also, some locations feature “The Pit.” This cool section of certain stores (see all locations - those with a Pit center are notated) is the scratch and dent of furniture. It is where all of the furniture goes that might have a tiny scratch underneath or maybe someone special ordered it then changed their mind. All furniture in the Pit is usuable, gorgeous, and cheap! The price is surprising since Bob’s Discount Furniture is already so low priced. My neighbors purchased their sofa from the Pit for only $199, which is the starting price of couches. It is big, comfortable, and perfect. The only catch? You better bring a truck with you while shopping because you have to bring it home yourself and if you wait it could be gone!

Don’t be afraid to bring the children along, either. In each location they have complimentary (that means free!) cafe’s. According to Scott at my local Worcester, MA store (who was wonderful by the way!) they have candy, coffee, sodas, and even Hagen-Daz ice cream. It’s a fun outing for the whole family to enjoy!

    Wow, I am super impressed with the fine collection of furniture and the prices are very, very reasonable! I really like the Coventry 48″ Complete Wall System.     I like the Coventry 48″ Complete Wall System. We got a flat screen last black friday but we are just using our coffee table as an entertainment center untill we find something appropriate thats affordable! I love how it has shelves and looks fancy but isnt expensive!

    Yes~! I live in Maine and we have a Bob’s Discount 20 miles from here. I just love Bob’s Discount. My kitchen table set has had it~! It is 18 years old and I have no idea what is holding the table up anymore. Two pieces of hardware has fallen off the underneath of the table and I have no idea how to put them back on. 3 out of the four chairs are broken and we used wood glue Friday to glue them back together hoping to get another year out of them. This is the 4th time we have glued them. I would love to win this set for my kitchen. I have all dark molding and kitchen cabinets so it would match perfectly. I also like the Magnifico 5 Piece Sectional. I would love to put that in my living room since my couch is about 22 years old and has plywood under the cushions.     Since I’m moving to new york on the very last day of the giveaway, I can totally enter this one. Rockin’!

    Hmmm, my fave item is the McKenna sleeper sofa. It’s nicely masculine and looks easy to clean, as well. (We are getting a den in the new place, and would love to upgrade the futon. I promised DH that it could be the “man” room, where he can put up that framed poster of Magic Johnson, which I have banned from every other room in the house. Nothing against #32, I just think framed posters are pretty tacky.)

    This is a great giveaway. I need a new kitchen set, and this one looks great. Real wood. I was really disappointed looking this past memorial day weekend. Everyone is obsessed with selling veneer and I want wood. it just lasts longer. This looks grea and I love footrest on the seats. they have other sets there that are great too!     I know I can’t win because I live in FL, but we used to live in CT, and had gotten several pieces of furniture for our former home from Bob’s, as did our son & daughter-in-law. It is a great company, and “Bob” really does stand behind his company – when we had a problem with one employee from one store, he sent us a $150 gift cert. to rectify any misgivings we had.
