I will be attending BlogHer this year sans sponsor, and I am more than excited. Yes, I am going to promote my blog. Yes, I am planning on promoting my brand. Yes, I’m going to network with some amazing people. But the real reason I am going? To help re-energize my life with a little help from my friends. I’ve made strong connections with some fellow bloggers that I am so thankful to have.
We call ourselves the Skype sisters. We are a group of women who are Mothers, Wives, Daughters, Sisters and more. Many of these women will be attending BlogHer and I just know that meeting them in real life will help energize my soul and tighten our bonds even more. We have been through heart ache, birthdays, new babies, struggles, illness and love. That is one thing that never lacks with our friendship. Love. While we have never met in person we are constantly there for each other. I know if I ever need a laugh or a friend to lean on all I have to do is log onto my Skype and there they are. Of course they are also only a phone call away, day or night as well.

Do you know just how incredible you are? How you inspire so many of us with all that you do, and of course the grace style and energy you do it with.
There are many reasons I am looking forward to BlogHer, many of them you mentioned, for me is to hold the hands of those that have held mine from across the miles, to hug you girls who have held me up in prayer and in good thoughts, to see your faces light up when you talk and laugh, to simply be in the actual presence of the most real friendships I’ve known in a very very long time.
For each of you ladies have touched my world, you’ve made if brighter, better, doable, survivable, funnier and special. Through our time on Skype – which was because of our individual blogs that we found each other – - we created a sisterhood – a lasting amazing sisterhood. How AWESOME is that.
Andrea, you above all I know, deserve this!! Your go-getem energized life, spirit, heart, laughter and smile…. make you a perfect fit.
